UMAMI Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp (5g) UMAMI EGG FLAVOR

  • 1/4 cup (50g) water

  • 1/4 cup (50g) Light Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 cup (100g) Soy Sauce

  • 1/2 cup (100g) MIRIN

  • 1/8 tsp (0.3g) Grind Black Pepper

  • 1 tsp (5g) Maple Syrup

Directions

<Preparation>

Reduce MIRIN to half its volume.

  1. add all ingredients except UMAMI EGG FLAVOR to a saucepan.

  2. Place the pan over the heat and heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.

  3. Once boiling, remove from heat.

  4. Add UMAMI EGG FLAVOR and mix well to avoid lumps.
