UMAMI UNITED Secures $9 Million, Awarded Japanese Government Grant!

UMAMI UNITED JAPAN Co., Ltd. announces its selection for the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Innovation Promotion Fund Project on December 28, 2023.The proposed theme is "Establishment and Global Expansion of 'Plant-Based Eggs' Utilizing Japanese Technology," and the total amount of approximately 9M USD awarded will be effectively utilized to accelerate the enhancement of the functionality of plant-based eggs and the full-scale entry into the North American market. Through contributions to the Japanese economy and food security, UMAMI UNITED JAPAN aims to become a global food tech company representing Japan, fostering a world where individuals with various backgrounds, including vegans and food allergies, can come together and share a meal at ONE TABLE.
