UMAMI Matcha Pancakes ★
Ingredients for 8 servings
1/3 tsp (1.5g) UMAMI EGG
1 cup(150g) All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp (30g) Sugar
1 tbsp (8g) Baking Powder
1 cup (250g) Plant-based Milk
1 tbsp (10g) Vegetable Oil
A pinch of salt
1 tbsp(8g) Matcha Powder
Directions
In a large bowl, combine UMAMI EGG, all-purpose flour, sugar, and baking powder. Mix well with a whisk to ensure there are no lumps and the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
In the same bowl, add plant-based milk and matcha powder. Stir with a whisk until combined.
Add vegetable oil to the mixture and stir until the oil is evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Finish by adding salt and mixing until incorporated.
Using a ladle, scoop the batter onto a medium-heated frying pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface of the pancake. Flip and cook for another 1 minute or until lightly golden and cooked through.
Serve with your favorite fruits or syrup.
