UMAMI Matcha Pancakes ★

Ingredients for 8 servings

  1. 1/3 tsp (1.5g) UMAMI EGG 

  2. 1 cup(150g) All Purpose Flour

  3. 3 tbsp (30g) Sugar

  4. 1 tbsp (8g) Baking Powder

  5. 1 cup (250g) Plant-based Milk

  6. 1 tbsp (10g) Vegetable Oil

  7. A pinch of salt

  8. 1 tbsp(8g) Matcha Powder

Directions 

  1. In a large bowl, combine UMAMI EGG, all-purpose flour, sugar, and baking powder. Mix well with a whisk to ensure there are no lumps and the ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. In the same bowl, add plant-based milk and matcha powder. Stir with a whisk until combined.

  3. Add vegetable oil to the mixture and stir until the oil is evenly distributed throughout the batter.

  4. Finish by adding salt and mixing until incorporated.

  5. Using a ladle, scoop the batter onto a medium-heated frying pan. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface of the pancake. Flip and cook for another 1 minute or until lightly golden and cooked through.

  6. Serve with your favorite fruits or syrup.
